Bordered on three sides by saltwater farms, this luxury resort inn is located on a 3.83-acre site lying on a bluff overlooking the marshes and white sands of Crescent Beach State Park. The inn consists of 43 one- and two-bedroom suites with kitchens, living rooms, and dining rooms. The hotel also features a restaurant and conference facilities.

The resort was designed after the manner of the grand, shingle-style resort inns typical in Maine during the late nineteenth century. The complex, which is broken into two building types: the main lodge and the cottages, remains low in deference to the scale of other buildings in Cape Elizabeth. The lodge and cottages are arranged in a great semicircle to enclose the lawn and garden and to provide ocean views for every suite and every public room.
